Who Qualifies
HRD Corp grants cover Malaysian employees who are legally employed and registered under EPF and SOCSO.
Company Eligibility
Your company must be a registered HRD Corp levy contributor with an active levy balance and no outstanding payments.
Reimbursement Is Subject to Your Levy Balance
The amount claimable depends on your company's available levy balance. The higher your balance, the more you can claim.
Training Must Be Held in Malaysia
All programs claimed under SBL-Khas must be conducted within Malaysia, whether in-person or online.
Group Size Matters
In-house training supports between 2 to 50 participants. For public training, it covers 1 to 9 participants per session.
No Upfront Payment — With One Exception
In most cases, no upfront payment is required. However, a training provider may request up to 30% of the course fee in advance, subject to agreement between both parties.
